Peel Park Parking Affected by Construction PDF Print E-mail

The Town's Engineering Department has scheduled both Burns Street and Garden Street to be closed beginning May 26, 2008 for roadway and intersection improvements. At this point, Burns Street will be impacted first and then Garden Street towards mid to late summer.

East/West Challenge PDF Print E-mail
The past Mother's Day weekend found Whitby's rep teams (AAA and AA) playing in the annual East/West Challenge with teams from Mississauga. Our teams each played one game in Whitby and one game in Mississauga. After 36 games of ball the outcome was 17 wins each and 2 ties. You could not get more even than that! Congratulations to everyone, our teams, umpires, parents, volunteers for making this a great weekend.

Thank you to everyone who particpated, the volunteers, the parents and especially the players who made this day a great success. The weather smiled on us as well! A big thank you to Tom's No Frills in Ajax for their continued support of the players of the WMBA. They once again donated to a special event to help make it a success for all.
