The end of year banquets for Blastball, T-ball and First Pitch will be held on Sunday July 27th at the Pavillion (Special Events Centre) at Cullen Gardens. The facility is directly north of the parking lot. The times for each banquet are listed below. Come out and cheer your team on and celebrate the end of the season! | Division | Time | Blastball

For those of you that ordered Blue Jays tickets for the game against the Seattle Mariners on July 26, the order has been placed! Tickets will begin to be distributed this week at games around town. We will be hand delivering them to you as early as Thursday, July 17 - please be patient as we have a lot of games to deliver to! And now a special surprise - the Whitby Minor Baseball Association has been asked to lead the 7th inning stretch on July 26th! Only EIGHT (8) lucky house league players (ages 14 and under) attending the game will be able to participate in this very special event! WHITBY PEEWEE SELECT WINS HOME TOURNAMENT |

July 5 & 6 Congratulations to the Peewee select team who hosted an exciting week-end of select baseball.The team once again placed first in their division competing against North York, Newmarket and Pickering. In an outstanding display of hitting, the team beat Kitchener in the 1/4 finals. In the semi finals, the team faced Burlington with a 12-6 win. The championship game on Sunday brought the most exciting game of the season. In the last inning the team made a squeeze bunt play bringing the runner on third home for an 8-7 win against Orillia. Congratulations to the boys and to the coaches for a job well done! A special thanks to the parents who were instrumental in running a successful and enjoyable tournament for all. |
